Sight for Surrey’s Low Vision Centre stocks a wide range of equipment and useful aids which allow anyone with a vision impairment to cope with everyday tasks. Our qualified staff are always on hand to offer a personalised service when you visit.
We prefer you to book a visit to the Low Vision Centre in advance so as to avoid disappointment, particularly as it can take an hour or more for an appropriate assessment,
and have a hands-on look at items of interest.
Visitors to the Low Vision Centre often come with their partner, friend, family escort or carer and they are very welcome to participate in the experience.
If a personal companion is not available to assist you with your visit, Sight for Surrey will endeavour to provide you with a volunteer driver, for which we rely on donations.
We also administer the CES for the local authority and can provide some equipment free of charge following assessment by professionals including our Resource Manager.
